The Numbers (Very advanced, Class IV-V)
This section of the Arkansas is considered by many to be the ultimate adrenaline rush on the Arkansas River! The Numbers is a narrow, rocky, steep, cold-water run requiring advanced skills. Beginning at nearly 9,000 feet in elevation, this section requires the negotiation of tight maneuvers and boat-crashing waves, delivering some of the most exciting rapids on the Arkansas River. Due to the vigorous nature of this section of Adventure Class Whitewater, all participants must be in good physical condition and have the ability to swim. Helmets are provided and wetsuits may be required. Minimum age depends on water levels and we may require prior rafting experience for this trip. Availability is limited, please call for more information.

Wildhorse Canyon (Moderate to advanced, Class III+)
Wildhorse Canyon is a pulse-quickening section of Adventure Class Whitewater that is pretty much non-stop action, especially at higher water levels. Located just upstream of Browns Canyon, the rapids here tend to be more continuous with fewer opportunities for casual floating. With some sections as narrow as 12 feet, the fast-flowing water creates a vigorous pace! You will catch glimpses of the high peaks in between the challenges of navigating rapids such as Frog Rock Rapid, Little Seidel's, and House Rock. Wildhorse Canyon is available as an option on our Numbers Full Day trip, or as part of one of our Multi Day trip packages. It can also be run in combination with Browns Canyon as a Full Day option during peak flows, please call for more information. Minimum age depends on water levels.

"Four Corners Rafting took my family down the Arkansas River. They have been around since 1976. We got to take in the excitement and beauty of Colorado's most rafted river. It was a great introduction to whitewater rafting because we'd never gone before. We also went float fishing for trout (yuck) and did an overnight wilderness camping trip, which was the most fun.
I felt safe with our guide Bill, cause he really took good care of us. Bill really knew a lot about river running, geology and local history. That was really cool.... He was really funny too.
I've never had so much fun in my life! I will remember this trip for a very long time and would recommend it to my friends. "
